Michael A. Wapinsky
Pastor
Pastor Michael has been the pastor of Heritage Baptist Church since November 5, 2023. He began his time at Heritage at the age of 14 through the bus ministry. Pastor Michael has filled many roles on staff since January of 2015.
Rachel Wapinsky
church secretary
Born into a pastor's home, Rachel has been in the ministry for over 30 years. She works along side Pastor Michael in the daily administrative duties of the church.
Sherri Vaughn
finance secretary
Sherri has been a faithfully involved in the ministry at Heritage since 2015. She joined our staff in November of 2023 and manages the financial duties of the church.
Dr. Walter B. Smith
pastor emeritus
Dr. Walter B. Smith is the founder of Heritage Baptist Church, beginning November 4, 2001. He faithfully and sacrificially served as the pastor for 22 years. Now, after earning the title Pastor Emeritus, serves along side Pastor Michael as an advisor and mentor.
